Our Cardiff based 4-5 piece band comprises
of dedicated professional musicians all with years of experience. We perform
all across the UK for all types of venues and events. Our clients include
Haven Holidays, Shearings, Bay Hotels, British Airways, Center Parcs, Four
Pillar Hotels, V05, Unison, Plumbase, The Swalec Stadium, Barclaycard, HSBC,
Welsh Water plus many private events & bookers. Christmas 2010 alone saw
us perform to over 4000 people.
We play popular music from the 60's
to present day - from Abba to Duffy and everything in between - also known
as 'floor fillers'. You can see a sample of our set list
here. Due to the wide age range at our bookings we try and cater for
all age groups - so you can be sure there will be something to suit everyone.
For weddings we also offer the possibility of performing your special song
of your choice for your first dance. We also offer a 4 piece option for
smaller venues especially country house hotels which may be short of space.
We have our own PA system, public liability insurance and our PA is PAT
tested. The band are members of Equity & The Musicians Union.
Renaissance
consists of dedicated professional musicians who are very passionate about
what they do and to making your event a success. The band is fronted by
one of the UK's leading female vocalist who has performed for clients including
the cast of BBC1's Eastenders, The Bill, Last of the Summer Wine, and an
event for Rick Wakeman. She has also performed as an artiste in her own
right in concert with Will Young, Blue, G4, Lemar, Slade, Roy Wood and many
more - her performance with Blue was to a 20000 audience and with G4 to
40000. She featured in the UK chart in 2004 and can be heard on some radio
adverts - some which made it to ITV1.
The Band is run by drummer
& percussionist Derek Bisset and lead vocalist Lisa-Marie, both of which
have years of experience on the professional circuit. This means you will
be dealing with them from the beginning of the booking process, right the
way through to the event itself and they will be dealing with you personally.
Both Derek & Lisa know how important your event is and pay attention to
detail to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible and all your requirements
